Veteran snowbirds & VA / military lodging
- Canada → US (snowbird): CDC Dog Import Form receipt — often usable for months for dogs from dog-rabies-free/low-risk countries (confirm CDC). Keep rabies docs current.
- Mexico: SENASICA/OISA entry; returning to the US may need a ≤5-day screwworm inspection certificate for dogs on affected corridors.
- Fisher House: accredited service dogs welcome; companion pets generally not.
