Partners & Products — Posting Rules

Welcome to the Partners & Products section of the PetPolicyCheck forum. This space lets pet-related brands and companies introduce themselves to our community of pet travelers — for free — in exchange for a link back to PetPolicyCheck. These rules keep the arrangement fair for partners and useful for members.

1. Who can apply

Eligible:

• Pet products (food, gear, carriers, crates, accessories, health products)
• Pet travel (pet-friendly airlines, hotels, transport, relocation services)
• Pet services (vets, insurers, sitters, groomers, trainers, boarding)

Not eligible:

• Adult content, illegal products or services
• Crypto, gambling, MLM, or get-rich-quick offers
• Spam, link farms, or businesses unrelated to pets

2. What you get

• One promotional thread in Partners & Products, approved and pinned (sticky) or featured by the moderators
• A place to present your brand, answer questions, and share genuinely useful information with pet owners

3. What we ask in return

• A public, dofollow link on your own website pointing to https://petpolicycheck.com (or a specific, relevant PetPolicyCheck page).
• Preferred placements: site footer, a “Resources” page, or a “Partners” page.
• The link must stay live for as long as your thread is active. A link placed only inside your forum post or forum profile does not count.
• If the link is removed or changed to nofollow, your thread may be unpinned or archived.

4. Thread rules

• One thread per brand. Updates go in the same thread, not new ones.
• Stay engaged: reply to member questions in a reasonable time. Inactive threads may be archived.
• Disclose your affiliation clearly (e.g. “I work for / represent [Brand]”).
• No fake reviews, sock-puppet accounts, or paid testimonials presented as independent opinions.
• No attacks on competitors. Compare factually and respectfully, or not at all.
• Keep promotions honest: accurate prices, clear terms, no misleading claims.
• Outside your own thread, normal forum rules apply — no self-promotion in other sections unless directly relevant and disclosed.

5. Approval and moderation

• Approval is required before posting. Unapproved promotional threads will be removed.
• Marc / PetPolicyCheck may edit, unpin, archive, or remove any partner thread at any time, with or without notice, especially in case of rule violations or member complaints.
• Participation does not imply endorsement by PetPolicyCheck.

6. Note for moderators

Sponsored/partner threads must remain a clear minority of forum activity. Community questions and discussions come first. If partner content starts to dominate, pause new approvals and archive the least active partner threads.

7. How to apply

Email contact@petpolicycheck.com with:

1. Brand name
2. Website URL
3. Proposed link placement — URL of the page and/or a screenshot showing the dofollow link to PetPolicyCheck
4. A short pitch (2–4 sentences): what you offer and why it helps pet owners or pet travelers
