- Petmate says the Ultra Vari Kennel "meets most air travel requirements" and recommends checking with your airline beforehand. Unlike the Sky Kennel page, this page does not cite an IATA edition.
- Petmate says tie-down strap holes let you zip-tie the kennel together for airline travel. Only the 21" and 28" sizes include a handle.
